Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Training Specialist/Instructional Developer to support analysis, design, and development of Navy training products. This fully remote role will work with Government SMEs to create effective instructional content aligned with NAVEDTRA standards.

The candidate will lead front-end instructional design activities, map learning objectives to requirements, write scripts, and develop storyboards while coordinating with multimedia and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: Secret
• Experience in instructional systems design, curriculum or training development
• Ability to translate technical requirements into learning solutions
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills
• Ability to work with SMEs, designers, developers and government stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end instructional design activities with Government SMEs
• Transform technical information into structured instructional content
• Develop learning objectives and maps to training requirements
• Write instructional scripts for interactive and web-based training
• Create detailed storyboards with learner interactions and media
• Collaborate with multimedia and technical developers throughout the lifecycle
• Ensure NAVEDTRA standards compliance and traceability of requirements
• Support production schedules and respond to feedback from reviews
