Johnson Barrow, a long‑standing HVAC solutions provider, seeks a remote, national HVAC service professional to commission, diagnose, and service commercial systems across the U.S.

You will travel up to 80% on a rotating schedule, with per diem and travel costs covered. The role requires EPA Type I & II certification, strong diagnostics, and clear customer communication. Competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial HVAC service or maintenance.
• EPA Type I & II refrigerant certification is required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrically.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Commission newly installed HVAC systems and verify proper set‑up and operation.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to extend life and boost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues including electrical faults, refrigerant leaks, and airflow imbalances.
• Confirm correct operation of control sequences and safety devices.
• Record service actions, test results, parts usage, and all adjustments made.
