Qualifications
- 3+ years as Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, Coordinator, or Examiner
- Experience with title review and multi-state transactions
- Familiarity with ALTA/NSPS surveys and UCC searches
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough title reviews and examine commitments, documents, and searches to clear title issues.
- Draft, review, and issue complex proforma title policies and required endorsements.
- Prepare and manage title bills, endorsements, and recording charges for multi-state deals.
- Coordinate multi-state pipelines from intake to post-closing and track critical dates.
- Review surveys and authorization documents, flag issues for underwriting counsel.
- Work with sellers, buyers, lenders, and underwriters to clear title exceptions and obtain needed affidavits.
