Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking a National Architectural Coatings Sales Specialist to lead the launch and expansion of our architectural paint portfolio across Paint, Hardware, and MRO channels. You will train, coach, and partner with field sales, distributors, and key accounts to drive specification and profitable growth.

The role requires deep coatings knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and willingness to travel nationally (50-70%). Remote work options are available within the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/marketing or related field.
• 5+ years in architectural coatings, paint, or related building products.
• Proven success in multi-channel sales across Paint, Hardware and MRO channels.
• Strong understanding of coatings applications and contractor needs.
• Willingness to travel nationally (50-70%).

Responsibilities

• Lead national sales efforts for architectural coatings launch across channels.
• Serve as technical and commercial expert, training and positioning products.
• Partner with regional sales and distributors to close new opportunities.
• Drive demand with contractors, facility managers, and end users.
• Develop channel-specific growth strategies and expand distribution.
• Coach sales teams and collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain.
• Analyze sales data to inform strategy and optimize performance.
• Support national trade shows and customer events.
