Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a National Architectural Coatings Sales Specialist to drive the launch and expansion of the architectural paint portfolio across Paint, Hardware, and MRO channels. This role reports to the National Sales Manager and collaborates with field sales, distribution, and key accounts to accelerate adoption and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural coatings, paint, or related building products industry.
• Proven success in multi-channel sales environments across Paint, Hardware, and/or MRO distribution.
• Willingness to travel nationally (50–70%).

Responsibilities

• Lead national sales efforts supporting the architectural coatings launch across Paint, Hardware and MRO channels.
• Act as the technical and commercial expert on architectural coatings, providing product training and guidance.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Distributor Sales Teams to identify and close new opportunities.
• Drive demand by influencing contractors, facility managers, and end users on product specification.
• Develop channel-specific growth strategies to expand distribution and shelf presence.
• Conduct joint sales calls and field rides to coach sales execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain for launches and lifecycle management.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy.
• Support national and regional trade shows and training sessions.
