Job summary

i2G Systems seeks a Remote Field Operations Technician to oversee installation oversight, commissioning support, and operational readiness of enterprise access control systems nationwide. This role requires extensive travel, coordination with project managers and site leads, and strong collaboration across engineering and integration teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in physical and electronic security systems.
• Working knowledge of enterprise access control systems required.
• Hands-on experience with Mercury-based access control platforms required.
• Strong ability to support field execution and project delivery across multiple sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project locations to support installation activities, head-end terminations, system startup, and commissioning efforts.
• Verify system functionality and that installations meet project specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and project records.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Advanced Integration teams to support deployment and commissioning.
