Job summary

Miaplaza seeks a Curriculum Developer to design music content for grades 6–12, including video scripts, assessments, and written activities.

You’ll create engaging, standards-aligned materials, while collaborating with educators and production teams. The role emphasizes independent work, timely delivery, and using Google tools to support instruction.

The position is fully remote with requirements for a bachelor’s in Education or music field and at least 2 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time music classroom teaching at grades 6-12.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education or a music-related field.
• Familiarity with writing objective-aligned lesson materials.
• Experience creating well-structured and effective lessons.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to make learning accessible and engaging.
• Strong understanding of engaging lesson design.
• Experience using Google Tools to support instruction.
• Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
• Growth mindset with feedback-based improvement.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop music content for 6–12 grades (video scripts, assessments, written materials).
• Ensure pedagogical soundness, engagement, and accessibility.
• Write measurable lesson objectives aligned to outcomes.
• Create content using Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Evaluate and refine content based on feedback and outcomes.
