Job summary

Miaplaza is a 100% remote education company offering music curriculum development roles for grades 6–12. The position is 30–40 hours per week with a starting pay range of $25.12–$34.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-time music classroom teaching experience at grades 6-12.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or in a music-related field.
• Familiarity with writing lesson objectives and creating objective-aligned lesson materials.
• Experience creating well-structured and effective lessons.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to make learning accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate.
• Experience using Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop music education content for grades 6-12 (video scripts, assessments, written materials).
• Ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, and age-appropriate.
• Write clear, measurable lesson objectives and align materials to objectives.
• Use Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs to support instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Continuously evaluate and refine content based on feedback and outcomes.
• Collaborate with peers on curriculum development and give/receive feedback.
