Job summary

Corewell Health's MRI Telemetry Butterworth unit in Grand Rapids seeks a part-time Monitor Tech to remotely track MRI patients' ECG and vital signs during evening shifts.

You will train with an Educator, orient with a preceptor, and collaborate with RNs to ensure timely intervention. This role emphasizes patient safety, attention to detail, and reliable communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months of telemetry or bedside care experience preferred.
• Must complete a competency-based orientation program.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ECG rhythms and pressure waveforms and communicate with bedside care providers.
• Use MRI area workstations to remotely monitor patients and detect variances from baseline.
• Document patient data and post notes to patient records when applicable.
• Provide continuous observation of multiple patients via video monitoring and alert staff for interventions.
