Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids seeks a Part-time MRI Telemetry Monitor Tech to remotely monitor patients during MRI procedures from Butterworth Hospital. You will receive classroom training with an Educator and orientation with a preceptor in the Central Monitoring Center for the first 5–6 weeks.

The MRI Telemetry unit operates 5am–11:30pm on weekdays and 7am–7:30pm on weekends; typical shift is 2:00pm–11:30pm, with 20 hours per week and a variable weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of telemetry or bedside care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of orientation program required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ECG rhythms and pressure waveforms and communicate with bedside care providers.
• Remotely monitor patients using Butterworth MRI area stations.
• Detect variances from baseline and inform RN for exam initiation.
• Document and post patient information to records.
• Observe multiple patients via video monitoring and coordinate with clinical staff.
