Corewell Health's MRI Telemetry team in Grand Rapids is seeking a Monitor Tech to remotely monitor MRI patients from Butterworth Hospital. The role includes a five to six week classroom orientation with an Educator and on-site preceptorship at Blodgett Central Monitoring Center, within West Michigan facilities.

Responsibilities include ECG and hemodynamic monitoring, communicating variances to bedside staff, maintaining patient records, and continuous observation via video monitoring.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 6 months of bedside care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.

Aufgaben

• Monitor ECG rhythms and pressure waveforms and communicate with bedside care providers.
• Remotely monitor patients using Workstations within Butterworth MRI area.
• Observe monitors and inform RN of variances to initiate examination of patient.
• Document and post information on patient records as applicable.
• Provide continuous observation of multiple patients via video monitoring technology.
• Interact with patients and redirect via remote video monitoring technology.
• Answer calls from medical staff and patient care team regarding patient status.
