Manulife is seeking a Mortgage Underwriter - West to support residential mortgage underwriting from a remote location in Canada. You will review sales-submitted documents, ensure proper documentation for reporting, and collaborate with sales partners to grant loans within limits.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ underwriting experience, strong communication, and attention to detail. The position is remote with incentive programs; the actual salary will vary by local market conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Review documents submitted by sales partners to identify and decide whether documents adhere to internal guidelines.
• Ensure files are properly documented for reporting.
• Excellent communication skills with our sales partners.
• Ability to process a high work volume of files with attention to detail.
• Manage the underwriting of residential mortgage applications. Exercise sound financial judgment in granting loans within delegated limits.
• Manage your files with appropriate communication while working closely with the salesperson associated with the file.
