First National Bank Texas is seeking an experienced mortgage originator to originate high-quality loans and expand the bank’s presence with real estate agents and builders. You will manage a regional territory, train staff on mortgage basics, and conduct informative presentations to prospective borrowers.

The role requires 2+ years of in-person origination experience, knowledge of VA/FHA/conventional programs, and comfort working from a home office with limited supervision.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of recent in-person mortgage origination experience with a solid book of business.
• Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional mortgage loan programs.
• Experience with underwriting systems LP, DU, and Clout.
• Experience with Ellie Mae mortgage originating and processing software.
• Ability to work from a home office with limited supervision.

Aufgaben

• Originate high quality loans meeting guidelines.
• Develop relationships with local real estate agents and builders.
• Manage territory and train employees on mortgage basics.
• Develop contacts with bank partner stores.
• Take customer loan applications, including pulling credit.
• Conduct presentations (First Time Home Buyer Seminars, realtor sales meetings, product training).
• Communicate with borrowers and real estate agents throughout the loan process.
• Issue and explain pre-qualification letters and disclosures.
