Zusammenfassung

Capital Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor for a 100% remote role across our core locations. You will work with loan originators to process mortgage applications, verify details, and gather documents for underwriting.

Strong communication and mortgage terminology knowledge are essential to ensure accuracy and smooth processing of conventional, FHA, and VA loans. The position offers an hourly base salary with a defined bonus potential based on performance and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifikationen

Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer is required.
Must have knowledge of lending terminology and the ability/experience speaking with borrowers regarding lending requirements.
Experience processing conventional, FHA and VA loans.

Aufgaben

Calculates principal, interest and closing costs and notifies the borrower.
Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing loan applications and obtaining additional information.
Obtains mortgage loan documentation by ordering credit reports, land surveys, appraisals, titles and related information.
Identifies problems by highlighting deficiencies and coordinating with underwriter/supervisor.
