U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans within an assigned metropolitan territory. The role involves taking applications, performing preliminary underwriting, and ensuring documents are gathered for processing, underwriting, and closing.

Expect substantial off-site activity and a minimum of two hours driving per week. The position is posted as remote, but candidates near locations may be required to work on-site at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z; ongoing regulatory compliance
• High school degree or equivalent
• Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience

Responsabilités

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned metropolitan territory
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting sales activities away from U.S. Bank locations; 2+ hours of driving per week
