Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned metropolitan territory. You will take applications, perform preliminary underwriting reviews, and submit for processing and underwriting for approval.

Incumbents spend at least 50% of their time away from bank locations and may drive 2+ hours weekly. The role is posted as remote with on-site requirements of three days per week, offering opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration with compliant record.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Two+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned metropolitan territory.
• Take applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, and submit for processing and underwriting.
• Ensure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured timely.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations.
• Drive 2+ hours per week as part of the role.
