Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned metropolitan territory. You will take applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, and forward files to processing and underwriting for approval.

The role is posted as remote, but candidates near a U.S. Bank location may work onsite three days a week. This position also requires 2 or more hours of driving per week to support business needs.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act and Reg Z with ongoing compliance and clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience.
• Ability to travel as part of the role.
