U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans within an assigned metropolitan territory and perform sales activities away from branch locations. You will collect applications, conduct preliminary underwriting reviews, and coordinate documents for processing and closing.

This role emphasizes proactive prospecting, driving to meet clients, and meeting production goals. Remote posting with on-site three days per week for nearby candidates; drive requirements will apply.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration required and compliant with SAFE Act
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience
• Desired: self-starter with strong sales ability and independent work style
• Knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA and local programs

Responsabilités

• originates mortgage loans in assigned territory and pounds sales activities
• takes applications and conducts preliminary underwriting reviews
• submits loan applications for processing and underwriting
• ensures documents are secured for processing, underwriting, and closing
• spends at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations; 2+ hours driving per week
