Job summary

loanDepot is hiring Licensed Lending Officers to handle a high-volume flow of online customer inquiries from our call center. You will evaluate customer needs, present loan options across the country, and guide clients through the loan process from application to closing.

The role requires 2+ years of recent mortgage origination experience, NMLS SAFE ACT compliance with 5+ state licenses, and a track record of top performance. Irvine office with remote possible on case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent mortgage origination experience in a similar direct lending environment.
• NMLS SAFE ACT compliant, holding 5 or more active state licenses.
• Proven production of top performance in alike model.
• Must be willing to commute to Irvine, CA; remote will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Licensed Lending Officers receive a high-volume lead flow of online customer contacts daily from our call center.
• Present loanDepot’s competitive edge, evaluate customer needs, and sell financial solutions to clients across the country.
• Builds rapport, analyzes financial situations, and determines the appropriate loan product to meet clients’ goals.
• Educates clients on how to better manage their mortgage and debt.
• Assists clients through the loan process from application to closing.
• Maintains minimum production standards including originations and fundings.
