Job summary

loanDepot is seeking Licensed Lending Officers to handle a high-volume flow of online inquiries, assess client needs, and recommend mortgage solutions that fit their goals. You will build rapport, analyze financials, and guide clients from application to closing across the country.

Candidates must have 2+ years of origination experience, be NMLS licensed with 5+ active states, and be willing to commute to designated offices. Remote work is evaluated case-by-case.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience in a direct lending environment.
• NMLS SAFE ACT compliant with 5+ active state licenses.
• Willingness to commute to Irvine CA, Southfield MI, Franklin TN, or Scottsdale AZ; remote considered case-by-case.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume lead flow from online contacts.
• Present loanDepot’s edge, evaluate needs, and sell financial solutions nationwide.
• Build rapport, analyze finances, and determine appropriate loan products.
• Educate clients on mortgage management and debt.
• Assist clients through loan process from application to closing.
• Maintain minimum production standards including originations and fundings.
