Job summary

loanDepot seeks Licensed Lending Officers in Michigan to handle a high-volume flow of online customer contacts, pre-qualify clients, and present loan options across the country with a consultative, customer-first approach.

You will manage clients through the loan process from application to closing, maintain production standards, and benefit from a base wage plus aggressive commission, extensive licensing support, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience in direct lending required.
• Must be willing to commute to Southfield, MI; remote considered case-by-case.
• NMLS SAFE ACT compliant with 5+ active state licenses required.
• Proven production of top performance in similar model.
• Flexible, adaptable, fast learner with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Licensed Lending Officers receive a high-volume lead flow from our call center.
• Present loanDepot’s edge, evaluate needs, and sell financial solutions nationwide.
• Builds rapport, analyzes financial situations, and determines appropriate loan products.
• Educates clients on how to better manage their mortgage and debt.
• Assists clients through the loan process from application to closing.
• Maintains minimum production standards including originations & fundings.
