loanDepot is seeking Licensed Lending Officers to handle a high-volume flow of online customer contacts, presenting loan options, and guiding clients nationwide through the mortgage journey. You will assess needs, propose suitable products, and build trust from application to closing.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate financial analysis, and adherence to lending guidelines, with potential remote considerations on a case-by-case basis and base plus commission compensation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience in a direct lending environment.
• Willing to commute to the office in Southfield, MI; remote will be considered case-by-case.
• NMLS SAFE ACT compliant, holding 5 or more active state licenses.
• Proven production of top performance in a similar model.
• Flexible and adaptable, learns quickly with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume lead flow from online customer contacts daily.
• Present loanDepot’s products and evaluate client needs to sell suitable mortgage solutions.
• Build rapport, analyze financial situations, and determine appropriate loan products.
• Educate clients on mortgage management and debt.
• Assist clients through the loan process from application to closing.
• Maintain minimum production standards including originations and fundings.
