Job summary

Alliant Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Sales Officer to develop new mortgage business through referrals and outbound calling. You will prospect leads, build a diverse referral base, and convert opportunities while maintaining high service levels and product knowledge.

Responsibilities include coordinating with processing to ensure a smooth borrower experience, meeting lender guidelines, and adhering to privacy and legal requirements. Eligible for work-from-home up to 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years retail loan officer or related experience.
• In lieu of education: 6 years retail loan officer or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops new mortgage business through referral sources (realtors, past clients).
• Outbounds calls and sells to member leads and credit union leads.
• Develops and grows a diverse referral base.
• Manages borrower expectations and collaborates with processing for timely experience.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and privacy directives.
