Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an entry-level Default Invoice Coordinator to review vendor invoices for approval and ensure all invoices are assessed within agency and company guidelines. This role is remote from home with a starting pay range of $20.00-$21.50/hr.

You will perform reconciliations, verify documentation reflects actual work, and resolve discrepancies with vendors. The position requires basic Excel knowledge and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of billing/invoicing experience preferred.
• Default Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.
• Understanding of loan servicing documents preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for compliance with agency/company allowable amounts.
• Verify supporting documentation reflects actual work completed.
• Process invoices timely and meet department goals.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors regarding invoices submitted.
• Stay updated on FHA, VA, USDA, PMI, FNMA, and FHLMC servicing requirements.
• Identify issues using critical thinking and escalate as needed.
• Plan/work efficiently; seek cost reductions where possible.
• Follow company and department policies and procedures.
• Learn new skills and expand knowledge to perform duties.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
