Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default Invoice Coordinator I to review vendor invoices for approval and ensure adherence to allowable amounts. The role operates remotely from home with starting pay range of $20.00-$21.50/hr.

The candidate will perform reconciliations, verify documentation, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate processing for work performed. The position requires basic billing experience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Equivalent required; some college education preferred
• Six (6) months to one (1) year of billing/invoicing experience preferred
• Default Mortgage Servicing experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet all deadlines

Responsibilities

• Review all assigned invoices and ensure compliance with agency/company allowable amounts.
• Review all supporting documentation provided to ensure that it reflects actual work completed.
• Review all invoices in a timely manner and meet department goals set.
• Resolve any discrepancies with vendors regarding invoices submitted.
• Keep up to date on all FHA, VA, USDA, PMI, FNMA, and FHLMC servicing requirements and revisions.
• Must be able to use critical thinking skills to identify and resolve red flags, point out concerns, and elevate issues to the appropriate person for further resolution.
