Job summary

512Financial is seeking a part-time Document Preparation Specialist to join a remote team. You will ensure accurate and timely preparation of mortgage documents across VA, FHA, Conventional, and Texas-specific loans, with a focus on precision and compliance.

Daily duties include reviewing closing documents, answering client questions, and guiding team members on loan instructions. The role supports Texas mortgage regulations and requires experience with LOS and Microsoft 365 tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage document preparation and Texas mortgage laws.
• Familiarity with Loan Operating Systems (LOS); IDS experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) for document management.
• Ability to review title commitments and surveys.
• Knowledge of TRID and construction-related regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and audit mortgage closing documents with precision.
• Answer client questions and provide expert guidance on loan documents and closing instructions.
