Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Mortgage Document Preparation Specialist in Houston, TX. The role focuses on accurate, compliant preparation of closing documents across VA, FHA, Conventional, and Texas-specific loans, with emphasis on Power of Attorney, LLCs, and Trusts.

Hybrid option available for local candidates. Ideal candidates will have hands-on document preparation experience in a mortgage environment, proficiency with Microsoft 365, and familiarity with multiple closing systems and TRID

Qualifications

Experience preparing mortgage documents and closings, preferably in a mortgage law firm.
Strong knowledge of Texas mortgage laws and closing requirements.
Experience with Power of Attorney, LLCs, and Trusts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Familiarity with multiple Loan Origination Systems.
Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys.
Solid understanding of TRID regulations.
Construction loan experience is a plus.
