Homeowners Financial Group is hiring for a fully remote Mortgage Loan Specialist to join The Concierge Team. You will manage a high-volume pipeline, evaluate loan scenarios, and work with borrowers, agents, and partners to ensure a smooth origination, processing, underwriting, and closing process.

The role emphasizes autonomy with strong team support, a focus on client experience, and opportunities to grow income through a tiered bonus structure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mortgage lending (processing, origination, title, escrow, or underwriting)
• Active NMLS license (non-negotiable)
• Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA, RD, and SAFE Act guidelines
• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline without dropping the ball
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop positive relationships and provide strong customer service

Responsibilities

• Keep multiple files moving through origination, processing, underwriting, and closing on time
• Evaluate loan scenarios to match borrowers with the right product
• Work directly with borrowers, agents, and partners, keeping everyone informed and confident
• Review, prep, and package complete loan applications
• Spot potential issues early and solve them before they become problems
• Lock loans and ensure compliance boxes are checked
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date files in Encompass
• Contribute to marketing and relationship-building efforts
