Job summary

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer. This position is remote and based in the Denver, CO area. Candidates must enjoy strong member service, attention to detail, accuracy and compliance, and be available for rotating Saturday shifts.

Duties include closing loans, clearing conditions, preparing disclosures, verifying insurance, and cross-selling credit union products. Notary services and regulatory compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent member service skills with attention to detail, accuracy and compliance.
• Available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.
• Experience with mortgage closing processes and documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Close mortgage loans by coordinating closing times with members and title companies, and reviewing documents.
• Clear closing conditions by ordering payoffs, preparing affidavits, and obtaining lien releases.
• Prepare Closing Disclosure figures and verify homeowners insurance.
• Review loan documents for accuracy and cross-sell credit union products.
• Provide notary services and maintain knowledge of mortgage products and regulations.
• Develop proficiency with the credit union's data processing and loan origination systems.
