Job summary

LoanCare is seeking a Claims Supervisor to lead the Claims Department, ensuring compliance and top performance across staff and processes. The role involves overseeing audits, coaching, and adapting to changing volumes while providing regular loan status updates to clients.

The ideal candidate has extensive mortgage servicing experience, supervisory skills, and strong communication abilities. This position offers flexibility to work remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in default mortgage servicing and/or mortgage insurance claims and/or the legal field.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage industry practices and claims processing for HUD, FHLMC, FNMA, VA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the Claims Department to ensure compliance with policies, investor guidelines, and laws.
• Improve staff performance through goal setting, training, and coaching.
• Monitor audits and ensure claims meet investor/agency requirements.
• Assist with procedures to increase efficiency and adapt to changes.
• Provide loan status updates for client calls.
• Review department quality reviews for audits.
• Navigate fluctuations in volume to maintain success.
• Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings and scorecards with reports.
