Universal Lending Corporation is seeking a Loan Advisor to guide homebuyers through the mortgage process, focusing on relationship-building and outstanding service from application to closing. This remote role requires residence in Washington or Oregon, with licensing in multiple states as needed and a background in lending origination.

You will interact with Risewell Homes sales teams, complete loan applications, perform prequalifications, submit files, and navigate underwriting while ensuring

Formación

• Active state MLO license in each state of operation or willing to obtain licenses in WA/OR/CA/AZ/CO/FL/TX
• Minimum 5 years lending origination experience, preferably with builders
• Working knowledge of Encompass or other LOS systems
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to plan for contingencies and anticipate problems; identify and mitigate risks
• Negotiation to produce positive outcomes
• Strong listening and responsiveness to customer needs
• Superior customer service skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to foster partnerships with builders and customers
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
• Identify customer needs and tailor sales presentations accordingly

Responsabilidades

• Build rapport with Risewell sales agents and division personnel
• Educate potential borrowers and homebuilder sales reps on company products and services
• Complete thorough loan applications and communicate with applicants
• Perform prequalification assessment within credit policies and regulations
• Negotiate rate, terms and conditions; lock loans on time
• Submit complete loan applications and coordinate with processing center
• Input loans into Encompass and AUS (DU/LP) for underwriting decision
• Assist with processing, underwriting, and closing issues
• Develop knowledge of financial industry, economy and market conditions
• Maintain compliance on all loan files and pipeline
• Project professionalism and integrity; work as a team with goals for self-improvement
• Travel occasionally; maintain valid driver's license
