Job summary

Peak Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to establish professional member relations and originate conventional, construction and government mortgage loans. You will manage the application process, disclosures, and documentation to ensure timely processing.

Based remotely in OR or WA, with travel to assigned markets, and a focus on Portland/Vancouver. 40 hours weekly, base salary $42,000 with incentive potential and no cap on upside.

Qualifications

• Two years mortgage-related originations experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local mortgage laws and regulations (e.g., RESPA, TRID).
• NMLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate conventional, construction, government, and home equity mortgage loans.
• Monitor loan applications and coordinate required documents.
• Maintain compliance and disclosures before submission to processing.
• Build referral networks with branches, realtors, builders, and other partners.
