Job summary
Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Senior Modern Workplace Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and administrators responsible for the daily operation, engineering, and continuous improvement of Modern Workplace services. You will guide technical strategy, prioritize work, and ensure secure, scalable solutions across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration, and identity.

Qualifications
- Seven or more years in Modern Workplace technologies or related field.
- Three or more years of people-management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Strong hands-on MS 365 administration and multiple Modern Workplace disciplines.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Experience coaching and developing technical staff.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Modern Workplace engineers and administrators.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration, identity, security, automation, and device-management technologies.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex technical incidents and architectural decisions.
- Participate in technical discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation as needed.
- Review designs, plans, scripts, configurations for quality, security, and scalability.
- Coordinate delivery across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, macOS, MECM, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Power Platform, Copilot.
