Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is hiring a Modern Workplace Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and administrators in daily operation, engineering, and continuous improvement of Modern Workplace services. You will guide architecture across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, and related technologies while remaining hands-on in design, troubleshooting, and escalation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Microsoft 365, endpoint engineering, infrastructure, or related Modern Workplace fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience accepted.
• Hands-on experience reviewing designs, scripts, configurations, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration, identity, security, automation, and device-management technologies.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents and architectural decisions.
• Participate in discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and troubleshooting as needed.
• Review designs, implementation plans, scripts, configurations for quality, security, scalability and supportability.
• Manage work intake, prioritization, and resource assignment across tasks and projects.
• Establish technical standards, engineering practices and accountability expectations.
