CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a remote Model Risk Advisor to promote governance, manage AI policy adoption, and streamline risk controls across the enterprise. The role emphasizes collaboration with risk, audit, and IT teams while supporting model validation and governance improvements.

The position is remote nationwide in the United States with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. It offers opportunities to influence policy, drive compliance, and contribute to CSAA IG's growing AI governance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in model risk management and audits.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, information management, data science or related field.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Experience deploying AI Model governance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies and standards across the enterprise.
• Maintain inventory of AI/ML models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and usage.
• Support model validation and testing; document findings and recommendations.
• Develop reports and executive insights on governance and risk.
