Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to strengthen AI governance across the enterprise. You will manage model inventories, assess risks, support validation, and report on governance metrics to leadership.

The role is remote nationwide in the United States with active regulatory considerations. You should have 4+ years in model risk or audit, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Model risk management, risk, or audit.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or data science.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI governance standards.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Maintain inventory of AI/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess risks based on complexity, regulations, and business impact.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation and testing activities with documentation.
• Participate in AI governance oversight activities and audits.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on governance and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on governance.
• Monitor regulatory expectations related to AI and model risk.
• Find opportunities to automate governance processes and tools.
