Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in the United States seeks a Model Risk Advisor to strengthen AI governance, model risk management, and regulatory compliance. You will promote governance, maintain model inventories, assess risks, and collaborate across risk, audit, and external partners.

This role is remote with nationwide scope, offering a comprehensive compensation package and bonus potential. The position requires 4+ years in model risk management, AI governance experience, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, data science, or related field.
• 4+ years in AI model governance, Model Risk Management, or Audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical and business information.
• Experience deploying AI model governance across a large enterprise.
• Understanding of AI governance, ethics and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance policies and standards.
• Establish inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain MRMs frameworks, controls, and standards.
• Monitor model performance and KRIs, report issues.
• Support model validation and testing activities.
• Participate in AI governance oversight activities and audits.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on governance and risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams, risk, auditors, and external suppliers.
• Monitor regulatory expectations and update governance practices.
