Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to promote AI governance, maintain model inventories, and manage risk in a compliant framework. You will drive governance, support validations, and report on risk metrics across the enterprise.

The role requires 4+ years in model risk or related fields, a strong understanding of regulatory expectations, and the ability to influence across large teams while working remotely.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in model risk management, risk or audit related practices.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Experience in AI governance, ethics, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and standards.
• Maintain inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory needs, and business impact.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks and controls.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation, scope definition, findings, and recommendations.
• Participate in AI governance oversight, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting, metrics, and executive insights on governance and risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain governance docs.
