Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Mobile Vehicle Inspector to conduct on-site vehicle inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. This role supports Cox’s inspection standards with accurate documentation and strong client engagement.

Open levels include Level 1, Level 2, and Senior, with pay ranges and growth opportunities. A valid license and reliable vehicle use are required in the territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge is preferred.
• 0–1 years of automotive experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic vehicle inspections with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Safely move and handle vehicles on dealer lots.
• Accurately document vehicle condition and data in inspection systems.
• Develop working knowledge of inspection standards and client expectations.
