Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring a Manheim Mobile Inspector II to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients across a defined territory. Multiple levels are available (Level 1–Senior) with pay ranges that vary by geography.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0–1 years of automotive‑related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document condition per Manheim standards.
• Safely locate, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer lots.
• Verify VINs, mileage, options, and ensure accurate data entry in systems.
• Educate dealers on the value of Manheim mobile inspections and service offerings.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports and support collaboration with teams.
