Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Inspector to conduct on-site vehicle inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. The role supports accuracy and timeliness of documentation and acts as a Cox Automotive brand ambassador.

There are multiple levels (Level 1–Senior) with pay ranges and a requirement to work with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections following Manheim standards.
• Safely move and inspect vehicles on dealer lots.
• Document vehicle condition accurately in inspection systems.
• Develop knowledge of inspection standards and client expectations.
