Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Machine Learning Operations Manager to lead deployment and monitoring of enterprise ML products across Select Health. You will mentor a team of ML engineers and data engineers, ensuring scalable, ethical AI solutions with strong governance.

The role supports a remote-first approach with occasional travel, reporting to senior leadership and aligning with clinical and business goals. A strong background in ML, DevOps, and cloud platforms is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering and implementing successful ML operations infrastructure and solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication with senior-level stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of ML methodologies, algorithms, and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the MLOps tech stack.
• Lead AI/ML, data engineering, software, cybersecurity, and cloud ops teams across the company.
• Apply Responsible AI practices to monitor ML solutions.
• Guide roadmap and execution for AI/ML initiatives.
• Oversee ML operations projects portfolio to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Mentor ML engineers and build a strong team culture.
• Integrate ML solutions into enterprise business processes with governance.
