Job summary

Jobgether seeks an Applied Mission Engineer based in the United States to evaluate emerging border security technologies and support mission-focused engineering guidance. You will assess surveillance systems, sensor networks, cUAS, biometric platforms, and non-intrusive inspection tools while coordinating with government stakeholders and industry partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied engineering or technology evaluation experience.
• Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements and guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate border security technologies and inform investment decisions.
• Plan and conduct demonstrations, field tests, and system evaluations.
• Analyze test data and interpret results to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with CBP mission stakeholders to align assessments with priorities.
• Develop technical reports, white papers, and acquisition guidance.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to track progress.
