Decypher is seeking a Medical Coder II to accurately assign inpatient facility and professional codes (ICD-CM, CPT, HCPCS, E&M) while ensuring DHA standards and documentation guidelines. You will collaborate with providers and clinical staff to resolve discrepancies and support coding education across military healthcare.

This 100% remote role offers up to 40 hours weekly with flexible scheduling. Requires 4+ years coding (or 2+ years in an MTF), relevant education or certification, and at least

Qualifications

• 4+ years medical coding and/or auditing in multiple specialties within the past 10 years.
• 2+ years coding/auditing in an MTF.
• One year of performance in the specialty required to be documented.

Responsabilités

• Assigns diagnosis and procedure codes for inpatient facility and professional services.
• Uses DHA coding systems and reviews documentation for consistency.
• Researches guidance to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
