Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Key Account Manager for the Midwest region, covering OH, KY, WV and Western PA, with a mix of remote work from the Erlanger, KY area. This full-time role focuses on identifying technical solutions for water and wastewater monitoring, developing new accounts and expanding existing ones.

The ideal candidate has a technical BS degree, 3+ years in direct sales, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 60% within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of related direct sales experience preferred with exposure to accounts within the territory.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time on a weekly basis within the territory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales activities in a specific sales region for ADS accounts, including generating leads and writing proposals.
• Develop ADS accounts within a Region and develop strategies to meet client needs.
• Join and participate in local industry associations; present technical presentations at conferences and seminars.
• Sell concepts and close accounts with municipal wastewater and consulting engineering customers.
• Meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining margins through pricing strategies with Operations.
