Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a Middleware Engineer with a Secret clearance to support ICAM initiatives for a DoD program. The role is remote and requires collaboration with government customers and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have middleware development, API design, and enterprise integration experience across modern cloud-native and legacy environments, with expertise in Okta IdP and SailPoint IIQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software or systems engineering with 3+ years in middleware/enterprise integration.
• Experience designing custom integration solutions including REST/SOAP and middleware components.
• Experience integrating apps with identity platforms (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom middleware and integration components.
• Develop connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, scripts, and integration libraries for Okta IIQ-based ICAM.
• Analyze legacy auth mechanisms and map to modern ICAM capabilities.
• Produce reusable middleware libraries and documentation for enablement.
• Support RBAC/ABAC configuration and identity provisioning workflows.
