Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Migration Engineer with a Secret clearance to support ICAM initiatives. This remote role focuses on integrating NIPRNet applications into the central ICAM stack using Okta for IdP and SailPoint for IGA, in a DoD Zero Trust environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in information technology, with at least 2 years of direct experience in identity and access management, enterprise application integration, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting SSO integrations using SAML, OAuth 2.0, or OIDC in an enterprise environment.
• Experience working with Identity Provider (IdP) or Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms in a technical integration capacity.
• Active Secret clearance. Must be able to satisfy requirements for CAC-card issuance and NIPRNet access, including annual DoD CyberAwareness training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute the technical integration of assigned NIPRNet applications into the ICAM technical stack, establishing 100% of user authentication through Okta IdP and 100% of user access management through SailPoint IGA in production environments.
• Conduct thorough technical triage of assigned applications, assessing identity state, gaps, risks, and appropriate enablement pathways.
• Configure and implement identity federation and SSO integrations using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM with Okta and SailPoint connectors.
• Engineer and deploy custom tools, scripts, connectors, and middleware to integrate legacy applications.
• Provide architectural guidance on RBAC/ABAC and ICAM platform usage for authentication and authorization.
• Assist Application Owners through full enablement lifecycle, including registration, credential issuance, and access control module redesign.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with sample code, reusable libraries, and defect resolution.
• Document all triage findings, configurations, risks, and statuses in the Enablement Tracking Database.
• Follow escalation procedures and coordinate with the Migration Team Lead on stalled cases.
• Collaborate with internal engineers to resolve challenges and share reusable integration solutions.
• Develop and refine enablement playbooks and integration guides for repeatable onboarding.
