Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a Middle School English Interventionist for Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA). The role focuses on remediation for at-risk students, requiring Michigan teaching credentials and residency. The position is virtual with limited travel and generally 40+ hours per week.

The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, educators, and administrators to implement RTI, monitor progress, and support student achievement within a data-driven framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active state teaching license required.
• Ability to clear required background check.

Responsibilities

• Modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to align with state standards for each student.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet goals of targeted students.
• Educate parents on instructional strategies and RTI processes.
• Oversee data collection and progress monitoring at every tier.
• Use data to plan whole and small group instruction.
