Job summary

Stride, Inc., in partnership with Michigan Virtual Charter Academy (MVCA), seeks an Elementary Special Education Teacher certified to teach in Michigan for virtual instruction. The role centers on delivering IEP-driven content in an online setting, supporting students, families, and related service staff to advance learning at their own pace.

The position is full-time and remote, with expectations of 40+ hours per week and responsibilities including data-driven progress monitoring, collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and active state teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Ability to clear background check and work in a fully remote environment.
• Experience interpreting and utilizing data to drive instructional decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant IEP-based instruction and required related services in an online environment.
• Communicate with families and related staff to ensure services are provided.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate IEP documentation.
