Job summary

WAHVE LLC offers a remote, long-term underwriting opportunity for experienced Commercial Lines professionals. You’ll work from home across the United States to support carriers, MGAs, or wholesale brokers with risk assessment, pricing decisions, and book management.

Ideal candidates will have extensive Commercial Lines Property & Casualty experience, with the requirement of 25 years of full-time work and 10 years in Commercial Lines P&C.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience requested in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance.
• 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines P&C experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and thorough risk selection with proper classification of insureds.
• Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and/or renewal business with focus on book management.
• Develop and maintain superior relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Achieve acceptable underwriting profit levels within assigned book of business.
